Even er tussen uit

Bij een militair denk je al snel aan het uniform wat ze dragen. De helikopter monteurs dragen dit uniform ook. Deze moeten ze ook aanhouden als je op oefening of uitzending bent, zelfs tijdens vrije tijd. Je kan je misschien voorstellen dat dat helemaal niet lekker zit als je even relaxed een kopje koffie wil gaan drinken.

Voor dit project heb ik een vrijetijdsuniform gemaakt die de monteurs aankunnen in hun vrije tijd als ze op uitzending zijn. Het is een comfortabele trui met een grote zak aan de voorkant voor al je spullen. Enkele badges van het uniform hebben een draagplicht, dus deze kun je overzetten op je vrijetijdstrui zodat het altijd zichtbaar is dat je van het leger bent. En aan het logo van de squadrons is het herkenbaar dat je bij de squadrons zit!

When you think of the military, their uniform comes to mind first. The helicopter mechanics wear this uniform too. They also have to wear it when they are on exercise or deployment, even during free time. You can imagine how uncomfortable that is when you want to have a relaxing cup of coffee.

For this project I made a leisure uniform that the mechanics can wear in their spare time when they are on deployment. It is a comfortable sweater with a big pocket in the front for all your stuff. Some of the badges from the uniform are required to wear, so you can transfer those to your leisure jersey to make sure it’s always visible that you're from the Army. And because of the squadron logo on the back, it's recognizable that you're with the squadrons!
